Attorney Jephonne Roy holds a Bachelors degree in Social Science from Mercer University. She received her law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Attorney Roy has always been a leader and was not afraid to pursue her dreams of becoming an attorney, even in her mid-thirties with a family of four children to support. She excelled in school and received the highest grade in her class thus earning her the Cali Award.
Attorney Roy has been with The Fairell Firm since February 2013. She believes in keeping clients informed about their case and is always available if they need to speak with her or meet with her at the office. At The Fairell Law Firm, having compassion and zealous advocacy for clients is a key factor in having successful results and satisfied clients. Attorney Roy believes strongly in the firm’s philosophy that open communication is key to all successful attorney/client relationships. Attorney Roy’s background gives her the empathy necessary to relate to clients because she has gone through a tumultuous divorce, faced personal custody battles and has had difficulties with the many issues that come with child support. She has also been in an auto accident that left her injured and without transportation for weeks, which now allows her to also relate even more to the personal injury clients that she also services. Understanding the excitements, frustrations and disappointments often faced in litigation is easy for Attorney Roy because she has experienced it first-hand.
Attorney Roy believes in giving back to her community through volunteer work. She has volunteered as a Soccer Coach for Rockdale Youth Soccer Association and as a Basketball Coach for the City of Riverdale. She is also a member of the DeKalb Lawyers Association and volunteers frequently for the Rockdale County Family Law Center.
